DUETTO

This design is the first collaboration of Gruppo Ricamo (aka Judy Souliotis and Tony Minieri).  This design, while geometric in nature, explores Filling patterns, Couching patterns, Trellis patterns and Darning patterns.  The inner areas are densely filled while the outer areas are very light, with the codeword for these areas being "oblique".  There is an inner double border representing a continuous folding pink ribbon.  The outer border is a mirror-imaged Herringbone over a cross stitch base.  The colors are soft rose pinks, deeper rose tones, celery and olive all mixing beautifully with the pink-based mocha canvas.

The student will gain experience with silks and metallics.  The design is offered as two separate samplers that can be hung side-by-side or combined as one long horizontal design.  A PORTION OF THE TEACHING FEE WILL GO TOWARDS BREAST CANCER.
