This one will be enhanced with a new technique of gold leaf using a stencil supplied by the National Living Treasure of Japan in Embroidery. You will have time to explore the application of gold paste and apply it to your canvas prior to stitching. Couching with an unusual antique Japanese gold and the use of passing thread create an interesting border. Appliqué of kid and a simple trellis pattern filling complete the flowers. Jaceron will be used for the tendrils. The use of black congress cloth will enhance the colors to their best potential. |
